Ordered Valentines flowers for a friend. Recieved an email at 10:25pm at night on the 13th Feb saying that they cannot deliver the flowers due to adverse weather conditions in Nottingham. They would be sending them out to arrive on the 15th. I tried to cancel the order and could not get through. They decided to change my order and include a "I Love you" balloon.
My friend has a phobia of balloons, and so was desperate to stop this order before causing distress and not to mention the insult of me sending them a balloon, knowing about their condition. And then to send a day late.
I managed to get through to someone on the phone on the morning of 14th, the gift at this stage had not even been prepared, so stopping should not have been a problem. How wrong was I !!!!! The lady on the phone said that there is nothing she could do, and I explained the situation. Her reply was " Well it's only a small balloon" How narrow minded response was that. I asked to be passed to a manager to assist with this and was assured that they will look into it and will get back to me. That never happened.
From this point on it only got worse. 1st the phone number then disappeared from the website, (lucky for me had written it down), Then every time I tried to call a women was answering the phone pretending to be a recorded message. Kind of made me laugh as each time I called she messed up the words.
I gave up on this number and search the forums and found a direct number. Called this and got through to someone who said that they were still dealing with my request to stop this order going out and that they would confirm to be shortly.
That never happened. Then guess what that number then became engaged and could not get through.
Next up logged tickets, numerous emails, even copying in [name removed] MD & [name removed] the FD. Nothing !!!!!!
Please do not waste your time with this company. It is now the 19th and they are still not responding to me. Don't even bother raising a ticket it gets ignored.
The insulting balloon freaked out my friend and the roses were nearly dead when they arrived. They also sent the wrong chocolates, should have been belgian. And they also arrived a day late.
I am still trying to contact and will not give up. I want a written apology and a full refund. To which they have not responded to. No surprise there.
