I have bought numeous items from wowcher in the past and have had no problems what so ever. Excellent deals to be had. However, when i purchased a wedding photographer wowcher my designated date could not be had as it was fully booked (not the merchants fault) and was advised to have a refund. i emailed wowcher and was asent an automated email saying they'll be in touch..a few days later i scoured the wowcher site for any other way to obtain a refund....i found it eventually and applied (this is within the designated 7 day period). a few days lapsed again with no reponse from wowcher, i did feel ignored and was getting more aprehensive as the week drew on with no word on my refund. i then called wowcher and was told to wait until next week as they will deal with my email that no body had looked at yet, again i waited and called this morning as i was still out of pocket. the operator advised it can take 7 days to answer my email, it had been 10 days! she said that they weren't ignoring me....but it sure as hell felt like it! i finally got my refund and now have to wait a further 5 days for it to be applied back to my account, this totals 2 weeks! the result? deals excellent, value for money but god forbid if you want a refund. never encountered a retailer like it....BEWARE!
