I ordered a pair of cable cutters which were "special order". It took close to 14 days for these to come through and so I cant actually see what was so special about that order. In this day and age it is quite normal to be able to get most goods within 24 if not 48 hrs so over 2 working weeks really isnt good service in comparisom. When I received confirmation of the order on 22nd January it advised "If you require information on the current status of your order at any time, please call 0844 880 1250 or email firstname.lastname@example.org". I therefore dropped them an e-mail on the 29th January only to receive the reply "Unfortunately with it being a special order item, we are unable to advise a specific delivery date. Delivery of these items are usually made within 7 working days." If your unable to give a ststus update whats the point of advising the customer to do so? Not a good customer experience, much better in the local shop where the guys are very helpful. Thank you.
