Faulty Goods Replacement Dealt With Swiftly

I ordered a £50 Homedics massage chair as a present for someone & when it arrived it would not work at all. After a complaint email Menkind offered a replacement asap and did not ask for the faulty goods back. A replacement arrived a few days later without any hassle and this time it worked correctly. The swift response & action to replace the faulty goods is commendable. It was obvious however when the replacement arrived, that the original item was not brand new as it had not been packaged the same & an important retaining screw (that has to be removed before use) was never there in the first place! Begs the question why was i initially sent something that had been used !?!
