The blinds were ready for delivery earlier than anticipated and an attempt to deliver was made without any communication. We were at work (day 1). The delivery service then "assumes" you will be there the next day so, despite re-scheduling via telephone to another day they delivered again when we were at work (day 2). Their policy is only two attempts for free. So I am expected to pay or travel miles to the depot ! We rang an spoke to a person (a challenge indeed), and they conceded to deliver another day, day 4. Waited in all day 4 for nothing ! Rang again, no explanation for the wasted day, lots of sympathy ! Re-scheduled for day 5 . Success. Just a bit of communication would have helped. Other delivery companies manage much better, let you know they plan to deliver so you can advise them not to etc, some even manage to ring with an estimated delivery time on the day so you do not waste time. In short: great blinds, great service from 247 but not a good choice of delivery contractor.
