I have organised a annual dinner in London over the last 16 years and we like to give a personalised gift to those who attend. Engraved whisky glasses etc. this year we thought we would give a miniature personalised bottle to go in the glass.
Ordered in good time but on the day of the dinner nothing had turned up. After talking to their helpful staff it turned out the they had not been shipped due to staff sickness. I was expecting that nothing could be done to get the delivery to us before the dinner in the evening.
They got a member of staff, who was on holiday, to bring the bottles and hand deliver them.
Most companies could have just made an excuse and walked away, they did not. I got my miniatures , our dinner attendees were happy and the dinner was a great success.
