I paid $650.00 dollars for two tickets in the front row at a soccer game, Napoli-Juventus taking place in Naples, Italy on 3/1/2013 and received two tickets that were in the nose bleeds that cost less then $100.00. I'm flying from the USA to Europe to go see this game and I'm out of pocket, if I cancel completely.
Just got back from Italy and I went ahead and used the WRONG expensive tickets that Viagogo sent me. It was either return the tickets for a refund, (if I did that I would have wasted the flight and hotel reservations that I had booked for this event, since there was no refund on my reservations and Viagogo could not provide the correct tickets due to a sold out event) or go and watch the game as planned. Two things are for sure, #ONE, I will never, ever use this site again and I will deter anyone that will attempt to use them, #TWO, for the expensive tickets that had a face value of $100.00 I will write that off as been robbed, because that's how I feel about it. Its not so much for the money but for the disappointment of been deceived. Viagogo customer's service will overwhelm you with emails about how sorry they are, but in the meantime I'm out of pocket $656.00 and they offered me a refund of $40.00, something that I did not even accept since I thought it was more for them to say, "Well we gave you a refund" other than trying to making it right. Sorry Viagogo, you can't buy my silence for $40.00.......... Unfortunately, fans of sports or fans of concerts and whatever the event may be are unfortunate because these websites rely on the good faith and money of people willing to pay anything in order to see a venue that they might enjoy. I am not sorry for my words as I am entitled to my opinion and I have the right to tell people my experiences. I am just preventing anyone else from incurring what I encountered.
PS I'm sure someone from Viagogo will see this and promptly respond with some sort of apology. Just so you know, don't waste your time, your apologies can't fix the problem.
