I've been using paypal for my purchases for couple of years without any problems.
Early this year I came across the first seller (provider of services) who didn't deliver the service as promised. After useless email exchange with them I escalated the claim to paypal with an impression that it will be only a matter of time until I get reimbursed for the crappy service I received for my money. I was very disappointed then, when I received only a short notice that my claim was denied, without any further explanation or a chance for me to prove my point.
Therefore from now on I will only give my business to merchants who offer payment services other than paypal as I do not want any fraction of my purchases to go to this company ever again.
And it goes without saying that I will discourage everyone I know to use paypal as well.
