Excellent Customer Service

I recently had a long weekend away in Budapest with my wife, brother & sister in law.

We flew out of Manchester Airport on the 15th Feb. Our flight was due to depart at 8.30am and, having checked in on line beforehand, thought we would be ok in getting to the airport for 7am. This would then allow plenty of time to have a leisurely breakfast before we departed.

However, the queue at Security was the worst I've ever seen. It snaked out of the terminal and there didn't seem to be enough staff present to provide advice and keep the line in order. After an hour, I asked one member of staff whether our party should switch to the fast lane in view of our departure time. I was told we would be ok, and just to listen out for announcements. But there were no announcements!

Having finally managed to get through Security, my wife and myself ran to the Boarding Gate. It was now 8.25am. We explained to the Jet2 staff there that two of our party were still struggling to get through Security.

Having watched several episodes of a TV documentary involving a rival airline (orange branding), I thought the chances of Jet2 letting the four of us on the plane were non-existent. However, they were aware of the issues in the airport and actually delayed the flight by a few minutes to allow us all on.

Absolutely fantastic service, Jet2 saved our weekend away! We'll definitely be flying with them again!
