I've used this company twice now, once to hire an ultra wide-angle and just recently a fish-eye. Delivery was perfect both times, packaging was superb, and it was so easy to return. (They couldn't have made it any easier without picking it up from my front door, which I do believe is an option anyway).
Their customer services is brilliant, and they're always willing to go that extra mile to try and help. I would most definitely recommend this company to anyone that wishes to hire a lense, and I will certainly be using them again in the future.
Firstly, just want to say I wanted to put this review on the Asda Direct review page, but for some reason I keep getting re-directed to this one. Which is funny, cause the Asda Direct page has one star whereas this one has three......
Anyway, I ordered five pairs of school trousers for my daughter, then knowing I'd be out I arranged to have them delivered to my local Collect+ store. Firstly, Asda's chosen delivery company (Yodel) couldn't find the address (um, it's a confectioners in a High Street, not difficult) and then when I complained to Yodel they asked me to speak to Asda. I couldn't get through to them on the phone, it was constantly engaged, so had to send them an email requesting re-delivery. No-one bothered to reply to that email and instead I got a standard email from them informing me they'd received the trousers back and would refund me.
Then a couple of days later they sent me an email asking me to review my purchase on their website which I duly did. I have just received another email from them telling me my review has been refused as it contains inappropriate content. (I just wrote what I have written here, guess they only allow positive reviews on their site.....)
Anyway, in a nutshell, don't bother with Asda Direct. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Everything was in stock and sent for delivery, but it's their chosen delivery company, Yodel, that lets them down. After three days of messing me about, I finally received my order. Fortunately my delivery fee was refunded after asking. I probably won't be using them again, but that's purely down to Yodel. Shame.....
I was waiting for three parcels from the same company to be delivered by them. One of them arrived yesterday and one of them arrived earlier today. Now this is where it gets ridiculous. The last parcel was sent out yesterday also, but the driver claimed that he could not gain access to my building, despite the fact they delivered a separate parcel to me on the same day!!
I rang to complain and was told it was a different driver that was trying to deliver the other parcel, so therefore they have three parcels going to the same address and at the same time, but they sent three different drivers. Where is the sense in that?! I've also been told that the undelivered parcel from yesterday will be delivered again today, but as yet I haven't seen it (despite already taking another delivery from them). And again, apparently by another driver, making 4 drivers, in 4 different vehicles to deliver 3 parcels that were meant to be delivered to the same address on the same day.
This company is a complete joke. Unfortunately, it means the company I ordered from originally will now lose my custom unless they change their couriers.
EDIT: Parcel never arrived again. They've marked it as "unable to gain access". Again. Even though they delivered something else today. Totally beyond a joke!!
No, no, no, no, no!!! So I ordered something from a different company yesterday and guess what? Delivery company is Yodel. Noooooo!! It was meant to be delivered today but when tracked (through the company I purchased the item from, not Yodel as Yodel doesn't even recognise the tracking number), apparently the "customer refused delivery". So Yodel obviously went to the wrong address, even though it was a [Link] store. Please, do yourself a favour and avoid this company! Utter rubbish!!
I placed an order for a Nikon D700 camera, a lens and 2 Compact Flash cards on 28.10.10. To date I have yet to receive it and am told by Simply Electronics that they have no estimated date for dispatch (even though it's been two weeks). I would definitely NOT recommend these people to anyone else. I would like to cancel but after reading reviews of how terrible this company is, I wouldn't expect to get my money back this side of Christmas so I'm hanging on in the hope my order arrives soon.....
Updating to say I never did receive my goods. I ended up cancelling my order, but had to wait several weeks to be refunded. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!
