Ordered one cheap pair of glasses with great success, the second pair for 69.00 pounds took absolutely weeks to arrive and when they did the prescription was wrong, Steve was great and told me to choose another style and my first choice was out of stock, initially there was a ten pound difference which they asked me to pay, l wrote and said considering they made the mistake this was a bit much asking me to pay and they accepted that and waivered the difference. 2nd pair arrived and they frames (Calvin Klein) are so huge they fall off my head when l look down and then one lence fell out. Contacted Steve again and reordered another style Calvin Klein which are unfortunately again huge, but now l just give up and l am going to have the original frame l liked with the wrong prescription changed at boots for a cost of 80 pounds. Would l do it again maybe ! if like me it is just reading glasses anything more serious no, would not take the chance
I once was a Customer Service trainer for the Airlines, so have rather high standards !
Hotel direct has been very good, l e-mailed them with a query as to why the price of my hotel was reduced after l booked and also l noticed that if l booked the hotel as 1 adult and 2 chidren, the correct number in my party l had to pay extra for the childrens breakfast, but if l booked the room as 2 adults and 1 child l would only have to pay direct to the hotel breakfast for one child. Hotel Direct unexpectedly called me back and refunded me the diference on the room rate, they also change the booking so l only pay for one breakfast.
