Would not recommend this company. The engineer did not even know where the shut off valve was put on. He was even about to walk away from the Gas meter without switching it back on, when he needed it on to test where the leak was. I needed to instruct him on where to look and what to do and I was charged £132 for the privilege.Great job, NOT!
Got a response to this review and was not impressed. Then I got an email from Sam Fletcher who was more professional and agreed to compromise as a gesture of goodwill, which is much appreciated.
I understand that gas meters are in different places in different homes but the engineer didn't ask, he just started undoing pipes, until I asked him what he was doing. He then said, "trying to find where Transco put the stop". If I hadn't been standing there he would have undid the pipe then have to redo it. All he had to do was ask. It was his whole manner and he didn't give straight answers when asked about the fault. If I did use Aspect again I would make sure that I didn't have that engineer!
