These people charge you for mandatory items that are not included in the base fare. £30 for on line check in or £40 to check in at the airport. £6.50 for a seat each way (regarless of which one you choose, you cannot skip this) £40 odd quid for a bag (ok I know quite a few other airlines do this). The extra legroom seems a hell of a lot shorter than most. and isn't cheap. One return flight I bought had a base return cost inc taxes of £220 When I paid with my debit card the cost was £372. LOL
British Airways on the other hand are not a budget airline and you don't get treated like sheep. Same flight with much better take off and landing times. £345 base fare. How much do you think you end up paying with meals and baggage, check in, seats etc ? Yep £345. Go figure.... The moral to the story ? Don't think the main airlines are always dearer.
