GG's service was polite, no questions asked. The problems (which they addressed with no difficulties and in a very timely way) were with what should be very high quality product for the price (>£400).
One guitar appeared to be poorly built with a visibly misaligned neck, unplayable action, and an ill fitting cover plate. A replacement guitar was completely to standards expected for Fender, the world leading brand of E guitar, except for consistency in some small but important hardware components for adjusting the bridge.
I attribute these to production problems at Fender, but they are a concern that in the receipt of two products, both had deficiencies that one would not see in guitars at half the price.
The only reason I do not assign a 5 is that these issues were not detected in the shop, which I sense from its return policy, intends to have complete customer satisfaction and will know the expectations of its custormers at what are 'mid-high' price points and beyond.
