Saints & Slimmers

makes dieting easier

I am a healthy eater who exercises regulary. I have been underweight-normal weight my whole life. Last year, I started taking a medication which caused me to gain 2 stones. I was dieting through normal calorie-restriction. I lost quite a bit but now was plateuing and was starting to tire of spinach and chicken salad.
I saw an offer for saints and slimmers on wowcher who had also rewarded me with £5, so decided to try the lunch & breakfast kit. I would never have purchased this normally as I have no problem losing weight just through healthy eating but it worked out SO cheap.
Ordering was a breeze with paypal, package arrived within a few days via courier. 2 bars, milkshake powders, milkshake carton drinks and porridge with a shaker. It wasnt clear what the metal ball inside the shaker was so I had to look online. This is to mix the milkshakes, but I'm not sure if it helps.

From reading the negative reviews on how the products tasted, I am surprised. I wasn't expecting the food to compare to cadburys or shakeaway. This is diet food! The bars remind me of the atkins bars and the shakes arent to different from slimfast. The shake powders are lumpy and I didnt think much of the chocolate, but the vanilla was delicious. At this point, anything is treat compared to what I was eating before (spinach!), so I am very happy. I am also finding it so much easier to count calories, every portion here is 200. I admit, I am not doing 1200 calories a day plan as this feels like a lot, but consuming around 600-800 most days and then upping calories on the weekend. My BMI is normal at 23.5 but very close to overweight (25). I have managed to lose weight like normal, but its more enjoyable, handy and stress-free at little extra cost. I'm not suffering constipation which normally happens when dieting and I am 'going' frequently (too much info, sorry). I am satisfied, happy and losing weight!

I am almost done with the breakfast kit and now intend to buy the 5:2 kit normally through the website (I didn't receive any coupons in my pack).. So yes, I have been converted.

I do not work for saints and slimmers, but I wanted to write this review to say 'thank you'. I am enjoying your products and would recommend them to aid calorie-restriction weightloss. It's no miracle-product, but nothing is when it comes to weightloss. However, I am so pleased, it's been a big stress-reliever in helping me reaching my goal without costing the Earth unlike other plans.

Hi Lisa,

Thank you very much for the great review, and honest summary of the products and how you've found it so far.

Regarding the milkshakes, these won't be completely smooth due to the oats contained in them. But, we've worked hard on the taste to ensure they are as scrumptious as possible whilst ensuring the calorie and nutrients are also provided.

I'm pleased that you found the calorie counting with our products easy to follow. We've designed our Plan with customers in mind and to make it easy to create and follow, as we want customers to lose the weight and be able to learn about portion control, healthy eating (all our Plans have calories available for fruit and vegetables) and be able to maintain their new eight afterwards.

Don't forget to use your Referral code (found in the Profile section of your online account) for your friends and family, and they will get 5% off their first order with us and you'll get points that you can redeem to reduce the price from future orders with us.

Keep up the good work Lisa, and do let us know if you have nay queries.
