Great service from the company but delivery...

I have used eBuyer for over 5 years, and place regular orders with them on a weekly basis for components, laptops, and other items.

Never had one problem but the sad thing is it appears they have started using Yodel for delivery instead of parcelforce.

Yodel always give me problems, from delivering high value goods to random neighbours without leaving cards, or not bothering to come at all.

Because of this, I will now be avoiding using ebuyer as I avoid any business that deals with Yodel to save me the time and hassle that always occurs when yodel get involved.

Bad move ebuyer as I spend on average £2000 per month with you, I would happily pay more if I got to choose another courier

Your comments regarding our courier Yodel will be passed along as we are very concerned to hear you will no longer be shopping with Ebuyer as we use Yodel as one of our couriers.

We also use Parcelforce and Royal Mail however unfortunately we do not have the choice of which order is allocated to which courier.

We work closely with Yodel to ensure orders are delivered on time and to the correct address as we do with all of our couriers.

High value packages delivered to anyone but the receiver!

I have used a large online retailer for computer components and new machines for over 5 years, who have used various couriers such as [Link], [Link], and [Link], and never had any trouble in getting packages.

Recently on the last 4 separate occasions since they started using Yodel, my packages have been left with pretty much anyone that lives nearby, or in 1 case, left sitting outside my front door for 6 hours with no weather proofing, and the worst of it is, there is never a calling card left to say where the damn package is either?!

Thankfully I have honest neighbours who always have brought the package round to me when I return home, but I can’t understand why Yodel leave high value new computers, laptops, and components with anyone but the intended receiver. (And it is obvious they are computers as they usually get sent in their original box)
All the other couriers would simply take the package back to the depot and I would either re-arrange delivery or collect in person whereas yodel simply leave it anywhere with no thought of value. (Unless I have specifically advised them to deliver elsewhere)

Shockingly bad…I’m considering finding a new supplier to save the pains of yodel, and that should speak volumes to the online retailer seeing I’ve been using them for so long and spend so much with them.
