Great product - Delivery needs development!

I recently bought a Yamaha YDP 141 in March 2013. The product itself is fantastic, I cannot fault the great sound and the ease at which I put it together.

However the delivery needs development, the product arrived not on the day agreed, but a day later. I also stressed that I was in a first floor flat, but the delivery driver refused to help me carry the product up the stairs into my flat. Thus because of the heavy nature of the product, I had to unpack the box outside my flat and take the product into my flat piece by piece. This was not ideal.

That is why this company gets only 4 / 5 stars!

Two deliveries ordered, one arrived quickly, the other did not!

Cheap price, but mixed delivery performance. One item arrived very quickly within 3 days, the other still hasn't arrived after 6 days.

Thank you for your feedback, we’re sorry to hear that your order hasn't arrived. We have looked into this for you and we can see that you have placed 2 orders on the 22 February using our standard delivery service. Our busy warehouse team managed to dispatch one of these on the same day for you, however, your other order was dispatched for you on the next available working day which was Monday 25 February, as we are based in Guernsey in the Channel Islands we do not have a postal collection on weekends.

We can confirm that we offer 4 different delivery services for our UK customers, 2 of which are time guaranteed and traceable. Unfortunately with our standard delivery service we cannot treat your order as overdue until after the 13 March. If your order is not with you within the quoted timeframe, please contact us and we will be happy to resolve this for you immediately.
