I purchased two tyres almost a week before the date I wanted fitting. Ordering process was easy and straight-forward.
On turning up at the fitting centre (the nearest, which was 30 miles from my house) they had my order but NO tyres !! Seems they had been sent to Kilmarnock instead of Aberdeen !!
The fitting centre phoned Tyre Shopper and a replacement pair of tyres was sent to the fitting centre (took about 45 mins).
I like the prices but Tyre Shopper MUST improve their logistics if they want repeat business !!
Ordered an SSD on 10th Feb. and despite the website offering a 3 day delivery I was given a 7-9 day delivery with no reason. My credit card was debited on placing the order, not on despatch as some better companies do. Well the 9 day delivery came and went with no goods received. My order online had changed to "Stocking Issues"...whatever that means. No emails or any updates sent to me. Finally on 4th Mar I called to find out status, to be told that item was now in stock, but it was over £20 more expensive than the price I had ordered at !!
Order was immediately cancelled, but then I was told it would take up to 30 days for my credit card to be refunded.
What a sorry saga of total incompetence.
I will never use WAE+ again and will be happy to pay a couple of pounds extra to get my goods from someone reliable and customer orientated like Amazon.
