Sensational customer service and assistance with any problems

I had been having problems with a brakers yard who took 4 full working days longer than the maximum postage date to post me a windscreen wiper linkage and arm. When it finally did arrive it was worse than useless, warped, corroded, bent, my garage rejected the part as scrap. I demanded a refund as my garage sourced me new parts to speed the job up - something I had no choice other than to do. They refused to give me a refund and said I should have come to them for a replacement if it failed their assessment of the parts. Numerous phone calls proved fruitless, and I gave them a final deadline to meet for a full refund. This was not met so I asked 247 spares for help, I put in a dispute at 1145pm on a Monday got an email at 0901 on the Tuesday morning saying that they would speak to the garage on my behalf. By 1101 that morning a full refund had been processed, complete with a photo of the receipt of it emailed to me by 247 spares. Alex at 247 spoke to me a few times that morning apologising for something that wasn't his or 247's fault but there was no need, he achieved in two hours what I had been trying to achieve for nigh on six weeks. They took my complaint on fully on my behalf and sorted it, even though as purely a broker for the deal they could have told me where to go - after all, its not comparethemarket.com's fault if you have a problem with an insurer. I was very impressed by 247's passion to see justice done and their hatred of cowboys was very reassuring, they are more interested in the customer than the brakers yards' subscription fees - a rare thing to see. I have bought several things through 247 in the past, including engines, gear boxes, distributors, air flow sensors, the lot and never had a problem, this latest unsavoury incident has not soured my view of 247, in fact the opposite is true - knowing that they will fight your corner really allows you to buy with confidence.
