Disgusted with the service

I ordered a few items off of a well known online only store. I needed the parcel to get to me as quickly as possible as I had a Ball to attend so paid for express delivery. I knew nothing about DPD at this point. I was supposed to receive the package two days ago AT THE LATEST. It still has not arrived. Their customer service is a joke as I can not get through to customer care. Also their online package tracker is laughable, it gives no real information and has said my parcel is "in transit" for the last five days! The online store I bought from even contacted them to find out where my parcel is and DPD has not even got back to them. I thought maybe this was a rare situation but after reading the reviews, clearly this service is not doing it's job and REALLY needs to work on that. I wish I had never selected express delivery as there is nothing express about it. Also they can not blame the online store as I have email confirmation that the parcel was dispatched last Thursday. Truly disappointed.

Hi Michelle,

I have looked into the tracking details and it seems that the parcel was shipped over to Ireland by DPD UK, and it has been held in the DPD Ireland Athlone Hub for some reason. Please be assured that I have passed your details on to DPD Ireland, and have asked them to look into this with a view to resolving.
