Not Too Be Trusted !!!

I sent Postgoldforcash a 9ct 40g gold bracelet and half sovereign and a full sovereign. They called me the next working day and offered me £84 ... the half sovereign alone is worth over £100. I had already received a quote from an online competitor of over £800. The woman on the phone tried to convince me that I didn't now what I was talking about. After some discussion she put me on hold came back to me and said there was a mistake and it had been entered into the system incorrectly. She then offered me £600. I declined the offer again and then she told me all about overheads and cost for postage. I explained that it would only cost £6.90 to post send Special Delivery guaranteed next day and insured up to £1000. Finally they made me an offer that was £30 less than the offer I had already been given by their competitor and went to great length to tell me that they were now making a loss on the items. I once again declined the offer, as much on principle as any thing else and after more pointless persuasive argument they very reluctantly agreed to return my gold to me in accordance with their terms and conditions.
My advice, if you use this company, make sure that you weigh your gold and look on line for a valuation tool so that you have a good idea of what it should be worth. Don't accept the first offer they give you. Better still, go straight to Hatton Garden Metals for a much better service.

They do not have the same overheads or cost structure as postgoldforcash.com, which spends millions of pounds each year on marketing and raising awareness of our service to customers. It was agreed that your items could be transferred to the price structure used by Monsterpriceforgold as we wanted to try to gain you as a customer and also avoid the additional cost to us of returning your items via Royal Mail’s Special Delivery.
Again I’m sorry you felt we did not achieve the customer service levels we pride ourselves on, your items will be returned to you at our cost within 5 working days.
