I picked Drum Stop because, unlike their competitors, their SSL certificate checked out (can't believe some online stores don't take this seriously!). They were also cheap and offered next day delivery. I rang up with some questions about their products and straight away I got helpful answers.
Unfortunately, when I ordered online, there were some problems. Firstly, the invoice summary of my order showed the correct price but did not explicitly state the extra backrest I had ordered for my drumstool. This was cause for concern because I didn't know what they use as the picking note. I sent a query regarding this and got a fairly curt response from Emma, post-delivery.
The order was next-day delivery. I double checked the order in the morning, but they had used my home address and not my shipping address (I cross-checked the invoice, which had the correct address, so the error was definitely not mine). Furthermore, the order was scheduled to arrive as 9:10am so I had to rush home from work to be in to receive the order. This was not ideal.
Ben was very helpful though, offering to put the order back to Monday free of charge, but I was home by that time.
Overall, Drum Stop delivered high quality products at a great price and very very promptly. The two minor problems in their ordering process caused a bit of hassle however so I'd recommend they investigate these issues.
I will probably use Drum Stop again but perhaps I won't opt for next day delivery. I'll certainly scrutinise their correspondence more carefully.
