Ordered on line and asked for delivery to be delayed by 10 days.
Delivered on time and on the chosen day.
Courier was DPD and I was kept fully informed about the delivery. Text messages on mobile phone and emails received (both day before and on the day of delivery). It was also possible to track the lorry delivering my order and find out whereabouts on route the lorry was.
Ordered 2 items and Home Supply's initial advice was 3-5 days for delivery.
Later advised order would be delivered by NightFreight and I received further emails and text messages to tell me the order had been despatched and would be delivered on Monday 16 Sept. Then got a further text message to say delivery would be between 13.00 and 1600.
Another courier tried to deliver package on Monday morning when I was not around.
Discovered NightFreight were only delivering 1 item and another unannounced courier called with the 2nd item. I had been unaware items had been split and were from 2 different suppliers and different couriers.
I have had to rearrange delivery of the 2nd unannounced item for next week.
Ordering on telephone was easy. They checked with supplier to make sure the sink was in stock - as it was coming direct from supplier.
It was delivered as promised. I only made one phone call - as it was the middle of the afternoon and I was still waiting for delivery. They contacted the delivery driver and phoned me back to advise he would be with me within the next 20 minutes - and he was.
Overall, a very good service. but some idea of delivery time (even 8-12 or 12-6) would have been useful.
