Booked a holiday to Tenerife with Jet2, travelling in December 2012. On arrival at accommodation discovered that the arrangements for the room to be at the back of the hotel, on advice from Jet2, had not been communicated to hotel. No apartments available in desired location! Had to move to different resort and to different accommodation than originally booked. First day of holiday ruined hanging about waiting for the problem to be resolved. Spoke to Jet2 in Britain and met with local rep and she documented our problems and agreed that the requested accommodation had not materialised. On return home contacted Jet2 and outlined the problems experienced. Could not believe that they failed to believe us that this was so and chose to believe the hotel that they had indeed offered suitable accommodation. (No doubt to ensure that Jet2 would continue to use their accommodation.) As a result we will never use Jet2 again and would advise our friends to do likewise.
