I ordered a knot puzzle for my grandson Oliver some weeks ago, and waited for delivery. When nothing came, I rang and spoke to a very charming Oliver at HPC who said it was out of stock. Why didn't this show up when I ordered??? At least I don't think you have taken my money yet. Your Oliver said it was expected in last week and he would send me as a priority as my Oliver was due to leave us [en route to his home in Dubai] on the 3rd August. Still nothing has arrived, so it is incorrect to say I have recently received an order from you, but at least this gives me the chance to express my dissatisfaction - in the past you have been good.
I am not cancelling the order, in the hope that you can supply by the 28 August, when another grandson has a birthday.

Dear Angela

I apologise for the frustration, as we take customer service very seriously. Unfortunately we were let down by a supplier, and we have been told certain delivery dates that were not met. We do try and keep customers informed of any delays, but on this occasion as we believed the stock was imminent we have not made contact.

As soon as this product arrives, and we will ensure it is sent out to you Express delivery and will be before 28th August.

I will ask Oliver to keep you updated of any further issues.
