TransferWise

Overall, very pleased - very efficient

This service is good value and the transfer is done very quickly.

After a little trial and error, I have made 2 payments from Germany to England. I had to do an IBAN transfer from my bank which took a day, at which point I got an email saying that the payment to my UK bank had been made.

Communication from Transferwise was excellent - emails at every stage in fact - I knew what was going on at all points.

I felt there could have been more documentation explaining how the site works, how to cancel payments - the first few I set up slightly wrongly - hence the trial and error mentioned above. Also, it wasn't entirely clear that I had to do an international transfer at first and that this wouldn't cost me.
