Nice stuff for sale at best prices I could find

Bought a light for my bike after scouring the web for the best price. These guys undercut everyone else and yet the delivery was really fast and the light came well-packaged.
I'll use Merlin Cycles again.

Great stuff for sale at best prices on 'Net

Saw a deal recommended on HUKDs. These guys offered the best prices on a number of items. Delivery was fast and well packed.
I'll be using them again.

USC

Items never showed. Really poor communications.

I paid extra for express delivery. USC use the worst courier around - My Yodel - see the reviews the courier gets on here for an idea of what they're like.

Nothing's turned up, my emails have gone unanswered, and it looks like I'm going on holiday without anything decent to wear. One big telltale sign about the company's aspirations in terms of customer service - no phone number. Only way to contact them is by their feedback form.

I'm not even sure how I'm going to go about getting my money back. It's been a very long time since I've been left this uncertain about an online purchase. I mistaken thought USC were a reputable company. Thinking about it, I don't know where I got that idea from, but it's clearly flawed. This company is a relic from that time online when you were never quite sure if everything was legit.

My recommendation:-

STEER CLEAR

EDIT: I've changed my review from 1 Star to 3 - "So-so – acceptable experience but with some friction." That is a fair reflection.

After chasing their courier a lot, and after a few more hassles, I have the delivery, and the clothes are really decent, and I'm pleased with them. However, still no response form USC in answer to my emails. Not very impressed.

Coughed-up phlegm could provide better service

These guys used to be called HDNL. They were woeful. You can read about how poor service was then. Instead of rectifying any aspect of a uniformly terrible company, the management just changed the company's name. That demonstrates the rat-like thinking of the company's management.

The only thing they deliver is wasted time. I've just spent a Saturday morning stuck indoors waiting for a redelivery that's failed to show up. This is the last in a number of failed deliveries from a number of different online stores that use this poor poor company. I live in an average street in London where no other couriers have any trouble delivering parcels. It's just this bunch of numpties.

The reason given for the first failed deliver was "incomplete address" yet on the same page, they cited my full address.

The online chat guy had a look and straightaway said, "Can I rearrange delivery" so clearly there was no problem in the first place.

He offered AM delivery and nothing's turned up.

At 12:45 I went online and their chat service is closed, despite stating that it is open until 1pm on Saturdays.

These guys are the pits.

EDIT: Just to add, the latest delivery turned up late in the afternoon -luckily I had just got back in. The driver was a really nice guy - that's been my experience before too - the drivers are decent, conscientious people working hard, but who are being let down by the company and management behind them.

Good service

I suspect couriers vary from place to place. Here in central London, DPD have always provided me with good delivery service.

I suspect people only review when they get poor service - that's why I came onto TrustPilot: to slate MyYodel who are truly woeful couriers.

While I'm here I thought I may as well "reward" the good guys.

Haglofs

Fantastic products and even better customer services

The company has a great reputation and many fans. I bought a rucksack and it served well but I wasn't wholly satisfied. I contacted the company, and explained my problem. They were fantastic and I could not have asked for better treatment. It was clear too that all the staff really lived the life and knew from experience how their products functioned. I'll definitely be buying more Haglofs stuff.
