Bad service

As a Waarington resident I wanted to be loyal and ordered a new guitar and accessories from Dawsons. Delivery was 1-3 days, after receiving nothing on the third working day, I called to be told that the one I ordered was out of stock, even though it showed online that there were 2 in the warehouse an two in stores. If they knew this, why hadn't I been informed before I rang to chase the order? I then changed the colour of the guitar and again received nothing within the 3 working days, I again called to be told that all items were out for delivery that day, I had received no notification of this, so it was lucky that someone was home to accept the order. I have still not received the complete order and am not happy with the service at all. I have had to call three times to chase things. I won't be ordering from them again.

Hi Joanne,

Thank you for your review and sorry to hear about the problems with your order. I have had a look into this and it looks like the stock information was miscommunicated by the person you spoke to. If an item is out of stock, then it is not possible to make the purchase online. At the time you made the purchase, the item must have been available. Therefore, I will investigate why there was a problem with the dispatch. I am extremely sorry for this inconvenience.

Secondly, I will pass your feedback on re: the delay in reply to emails. This is not our usual level of service and so please accept our sincere apologies.
