Booked what we understood to be a 2 day ticket on the internet but on activating it was told it was only valid for one day. We therefore had to go the Big Bustours office (which took 2 hours on one of their buses!!) where we managed to get it swapped to a 2 day one. The difference in cost was only £7 however instead of just letting us pay the difference they insisted we had to pay in full again (£60) & then the refunds dept would refund our original £53. This took a full 2 weeks of constant phoning around & trips to the bank to see if refund had gone in before we finally got it back. (and that was only because we insisted on speaking to the Duty Manager who was very efficient). So just beware. The buses themselves were fine, lots of free headphones & rain-mates if youre brave enough to sit upstairs in the cold like we did!! Commentary downstairs was not very clear & could have done to be a bit louder. Just wish the buses went both ways around London rather than just on a loop, makes it a long trip if you want to get off at a specific place (ie, we got on at Kings cross to go to covent garden & it took over 2 hours, we got a taxi back & it took us 5 mins!! so wasted a lot of valuable time).
