I've had some pretty bad experiences with couriers in the past (particularly Yodel), with them not being able to find my flat. With DPD, the driver had a package for me (a repaired mobile phone from Samsung) that was missing part of the address. Thankfully, he simply gave my mobile number a call, because it was printed on the envelope (such a simple yet effective idea), and I came out and got my parcel. And it was delivered within the one-hour time slot that was specified.
I'm sure DPD is probably more expensive than Yodel, but at least your stuff gets there and isn't thrown over a fence. You get what you pay for, after all, and with DPD it seems you get high-quality service.
Anyway, thanks to DPD and the driver himself, who was very polite.
