My boyfriend and I recently went to ScS in order to get a new sofa, CSL wasn't an option as we deemed it "too expensive". Once in-store at ScS, we were promptly lied to and deceived in order to get a sale. We were told delivery would be free, which it most certainly wasn't, and they sneakily added the insurance cover (an option we decided we needed, but were not even informed of before purchasing). Upon reading further into the documentation, we saw we were charged £59 for delivery, and that the sofa, promised to be delivered in 3 -4 weeks, would actually take 6 - 8.
We then headed back, but before then, we headed into CSL to see the offers they had on. Upon entering the store, we were greeted by a lovely young lady, who, in time, would leave us feeling like we were the only people that mattered in their store. We told them our predicament, and not only did they rectify it, they outright were simply amazing. I cannot express how great the staff in the Hull store were; they were honest, polite and were not pushy at all. They broke the stereotype I've always held with this sector of retail, and I would most definitely go again.
And to add an even better twist, we ended up spending less with CSL than with ScS, over £100 less!
Whilst not all stores are the same, I do highly recommend the Hull store and it's lovely staff, who didn't beat around the bush nor push anything onto you to make a sale.
