speedy return and refund with great customer service

I purchased a variety of toys for my place of work, roughly about £80.00 worth from the half price toy sale.
one of which was a pop up rock star stage. This was a bit like a pop up tent easy to pop up and let the kids play within a matter of minutes.
This did seem a little flimsy and after about 20 minutes one of the speakers which are attached to the sides had come unstitched and was hanging off. I decided to return this after a friend said they had pretty good customer service and it should be fine. I was struggling to find a tesco close to where i live to return the product , and eventually I contacted customer services to find out which store this could be returned to.
The lady I spoke to was lovely and very sympathetic, she assured me not to worry about finding a store as they would send out a collection van for it. I was a little worried as the item had only cost around £10.00 and I presumed I would get charged for returning this via courier. The lady assured me there would be no charge at all and arranged a collection time for the toy to be picked up. the next day the toy was collected within the timscale agreed and I was refunded within the week.
the customer service lady was brilliant and it was such a nice change to get so much help, and get my refund and collection so fast compared to other companies I have dealt with in the past, I will definatley shop with them again.

No refund after four weeks

i ordered some clothes for a special occasion, i came home from work one friday night to find a card from home delivery network saying they had left parcel in the bin. i went to look in the bin and there was no parcel. i called them and explained what had happened, they said they would get in touch with boohoo but i should also to get a replacement. tried ringing but no one answered the phone so i emailed and received no reply. the next couple of weeks i called constantly and no one ver answered the phoned. i emailed, emailed and emailed and eventually got a reply stating the delivery driver confirmed he had left the parcel in the bin and he would be made aware of proper procedure to follow in future. four weeks have passed since i first got in touch with boohoo and know they are just ignoring my emails and i still have not received a refund. if i knew i would have this much hassle and such terrible customer service i would have never have placed an order. i have contacted my credit card company and hopefully they may be able to help, seriously considering getting in touch with trading standards as this is a terrible way for paying customers to be treated. it is pointless boohoo having a telephone number as No one ever picks up the phone. will never order from this company again! beware before you buy people, i have ordered in past and had truoble with a return but thought i would give them another chance, what a fool i was.
