I'm a business user of trustpilot and have spent the past few days emailing trustpilot about a user who is using their system to promote his own website by writing fake reviews. The responses from trustpilot have not been very helpful and although they have suspended some of the fake reviews pending investigation they seem perfectly happy for the user to continue to write fake reviews. I've read some of the staff responses to trustpilots own reviews with respect to spam and fake reviews and I find it difficult to believe that they have any kind of system in place to combat these problems.
Thank you for your response. Much like the email responses I had from trustpilot you're actually ignoring what I've said. The reviewer in question is still posting fake spam reviews. Those reviews have remained undetected by your systems despite me telling you that they were there five days ago. Is there any way for me to reduce the number of stars in my review of trustpilot to zero now that I've received your response?
