We had a trouble free flight out to Tenerife on 2nd March and when we arrived at the airport on 9th March we were disappointed to see that the flight home was delayed. We went to the Jet2.com information desk and asked how long the delay was likely to be and we were told that it was going to be at least 4 hours due to a technical problem with the outbound filght.
Whilst this was not what we ideally wanted to hear, we cannot fault the way we were kept updated with the flight departure time and treated by the Jet2.com staff in both the airport and on the flight home.
We were all given a voucher for food and drink in the airport and even received a text from Jet2.com advising us of the revised planned departure time and apologising for the delay.
Being delayed on the flight home is never ideal, but being informed abd treated well makes the situation so much better, well done Jet2.com!
