Takeaway.com

Not good service

Ordered a Chinese using a Facebook voucher and paying the remainder by PayPal, a little while after placing the order takeaway.com rang to say they couldn't place my order and they will give me a new voucher and refund my money to place another order, so I placed another order with a different restaurant only to be rung again to say they couldn't place this order either as they couldn't get hold of the takeaway, I said to carry on trying because it was a joke, I got off the phone and looked up the takeaway and rang them myself and got straight through to 'la Bella' who had not had an order from takeaway.com, so it was an hour and 20 mins from me placing my original Chinese order that my new order was even accepted

Takeaway.com is the medium that provides access for you to order takeaway online and we will handle the communication side of things for you and the restaurant. I hope that you can appreciate that once we successfully communicate your order to the restaurant it is then the restaurants responsibility to ensure that delivery is within a satisfactory time, that the food is of a high standard and you receive your full order. If however we are unable to contact the restaurant despite our best efforts, we take the utmost care of keeping the customer informed about the happenings of their order.

I apologise that you had a frustrating experience with Takeaway.com but I thank you for your understanding in this matter.
