The mail I got to ask for my opinion about the big bus tour I took in London reflects exactly how badly coordinated the organisation is because the tour I booked was for my sister when she was visiting Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman.
The information on the site didn't match with the printed brochures and the people in the travel agency had no clue what they were talking about.
The transfer to the Grand Mosque was indicated on the map to be in Shatti Al Qurm, which makes sense and is the closest point to the Mosque in the entire tour but then it suddenly didn't seem to be there anymore but it was coming from the Souq in Muttrah....which is the point the most far away from the Mosque.....very weird to prefer a busy point with a longer traject and more traffic!
There were also other explanations on the brochure, which weren't correct, e.g. the guided walk, which was supposed to go to the next stop of the bus but didn't happen like that at all.
Over all it was quite a frustrating experience, which is not exactly what you want to experience if you are on holiday.
A lot of work to be done to make this better!!!
