This was the one thing we wish we hadn't spent our money on. Over £100 for a family of 4. We thought the concept of hopping on and off would be convenient and informative......it was laborious and time consuming.. Having planned an itinerary in order to maximise our experience we boarded at Tower Of London at 2pm as our next stop was to be Hamleys where we had promised to take an excited 7 year old. We told the ticket seller our intentions and he enthusiastically waved us on. We then spent 2 and a half hours trundling along waiting for our stop. When we circled marble Arch fro the third time we suspected something was awry . Apparently the bus wasn't stopping at Hamleys as advertised and the nearest he could get to it would be a 20 minute walk. The route was changed as they had dug up the road. No one indicated this to us at anytime during our journey. It was now 4.30 and we had a dinner reservation in Piccadilly at 5.30 so we had to tell our son he wouldn't be going to the greatest toy store in the world after all. The following day we abandoned our big bus tickets and purchased an all day London Transport ticket for £6 . We travelled from Tower Bridge to Madame Tussaud's in just a few minutes. You can hop on and off a train, bus or tube as many times as you like or a fraction of the price and a fraction of the time.
