Currencies Direct

Currencies Direct should be more proactive.

Timing is crucial. Almost every time I had to call to find out the status of transaction. In fact, the whole process could be shortened by reacting quickly, especially when I mentioned I expected the funds to arrive before a certain date (deadline).

We’re sorry to hear we weren’t able to keep you in the loop and react as efficiently as you’d hoped.

We agree that the status of your transaction should be available to you in “real-time”, wherever you are, and we hope to achieve this as part of the change program we’ve recently kicked off to completely upgrade our online offering. This should ultimately also include mobile alerts, which I think would have been the perfect tool for the situation you’ve described.
