After waiting almost 2 months for a delivery, for an item that was available for pre-order, I was eventually told they couldn't supply it (after 1 extension of the pre-order date) and the delivery came without a few crucial items.
I was debited £57.94 for £11 worth of goods in an attempted delivery which I refused from the courier (as instructed by Sports Direct). The refund I received was £15.99 which was for the items I received plus delivery charges.
How Sports Direct can treat customers like this I really don't know. They know of the situation yet still don't refund the excess money that they've charged.
My next step, should a refund not come soon, is to go through my credit card companys Chargeback scheme given that it was for a transaction under £100.
The only positive part of my order was the price and payment process. Since then it's been simply terrible. No delivery dates could be given and, despite cancelling my order almost 20 days ago when I realised after 10 working days that my order still wasn't being sent, I am still awaiting a refund. I even had someone from Ultimate Appliances leaving a message for me today to say that it would be delivered in 2 days time. Their delivery service is just a shambles and I would never rely on this company for your orders. They may be cheap, but I wouldn't order from them again.
