I'm a photographer with no camera :-(

Ok so I heard about simply electronics through a colleague of mine who ordered from these guys few years back and got his camera ok worked fine has had it for a few years now and still has it now. Ok I thought i am a student studying photography and wanted to buy a decent camera so I saved up, took me months to earn enough money from work to buy the camera. Really excited I placed the order on the 18th January. in the evening, I stumbled across a review sight on this company saw some of the bad reviews, alarm bells started ringing, but being me I thought it can't happen to me, how wrong was i, i received the camera on the 1st of February all good, it came when it said on there emails fine. After about three weeks I had been using it brought a new case to protect it made sure it was safe. Went to use it and the mirror in the camera body had fallen out snapped clean off rendering it useless so I sent it back to them on the 18th February they told me to send it to newbury in the uk, what I didn't know is that they then sent it to Hong Kong to be repaired, however I asked for a new camera spoke with them today and they say they won't give me a new one but instead are sending me the old one repaired. It's now been four weeks now reaching five and I still have no camera this company has over 1000 pounds of my money and I still have no camera.

I would stay away from this company at all costs I was going to buy a lens from these guys when I saved up the money but I will not being buying from these again ever. Every phone call I Make to them, to me I keep getting fobbed with excuses this is a genuine review I haven't made this up :-( I am going to give them a 2 days to tell me when they are sending me the camera. If I haven't heard anything then I am going to get a refund. I am also considering contacting trading standards to see if they can help :-(
