BMB Hatchbag

Fits a treat and looks the job!

Very pleased with quality and looks of the boot liner for our Audi A3 which arrived in about a week. The only thing was I had to buy 2 metres of self adhesive Velcro and attach it to the boot liner so that it pressed up against the back of the seats to give a more streamlined fit as opposed to it just hanging in a baggy fashion.

Hi Keith

Thank you for your order and the review.

I would be inclined to stick with our method of attaching the front panel of the liner to the back of the rear passenger seats if you can. If you put the straps at the correct tension the boot liner panel will lay correctly against the back of the seats. I do agree that a strip of velcro on the reverse of the front panel would look better and would be easy to fit initially - HOWEVER - your liner has a Rear Plus option that allows the Rear Seats to fold with the liner fitted.

When the seats fold you "MUST" detach the liner from the back of the seats - this is normally done by releasing the straps from the posts on the headrests, we position the straps so that when released they lay on the liner, this prevents the velcro on the straps sticking to the carpet on the back of the seat whilst they are being folded.

If you have put a velcro strip across the liner which in turn attaches directly to the carpet on the seat backs - when you try to fold the seats the liner will be pulled forward in the vehicle and may result in damage to the liner, the carpet and may just pull the velcro off the liner. This is due to the position of the SEAT HINGES.

It may work for you - you just need to be very careful when you fold the seats!!

There are some vehicles such as the VW Scirocco that do not have standard headrests - we do use velcro on those models - but Rear Plus versions do need to be used with caution...
