When I ordered a hard drive for delivery to an address abroad, I was initially notified by span.com that authorising the order would be problematic.
However, I later received a follow-on email that suggested a work-around. If I could confirm that the recipient address is genuine, they would be able to authorise the order after all.
I can certainly appreciate that span.com is wary of possible scams, and I'm happy that they found a way to allow the order to go ahead with a minimum of fuss.
