I bought something off ebay which included delivery. When I enquired where it was I was told it had been delivered. When I said it had not, they tracked it and DPD claim it was delivered to a completely different address. DPD did not leave a card and I had no contact from anyone saying they had my parcel.
I have tried that address multiple times and no response. This morning however the people living at that address were there but said they have not taken a parcel and they were in Hong Kong for a couple of weeks.
So I am left without any calling card, no parcel and am seriously out of pocket. I am going to have to assume that DPD have just handed this over to ANYONE who claims to have been a neighbour, and it's effectively been stolen. Just to add insult to injury this happened the only hour I was NOT at home this whole week. What do I do about getting my money back
Not much to say at this point. I did try contacting the company because there was an error on their website which stopped me buying. I could not check out from the basket because the website claimed I had not made some required choices. There were none. I have no idea what the choices would have been because the microphone I bought only comes in one colour. However I found if I clicked checkout from the main page I circumvented the basket and it allowed me to checkout properly. I did contact them saying I was ready to buy and could they fix it or tell me how to check out but I worked it out and in any case didn't get any response from them that I know of. So I have downrated my experience from 5 to 3 stars. The buying experience apart from the poor communication was fine, and the courier they use found my address where others fail. Will consider using again.
Update: I did get a prompt response from the retailer following my comments. As there was probably some kind of technical issue and uncertain where this occurred (possibly my side) I have upped the rating. Overall I am happy with the attention to customer service. I contacted them via their online form and I know from experience this method is not always 100% reliable.
I wanted some speakers in a style my usual supplier only had by special order. I found them in stock with Exceptional AV and next day delivery was extremely reasonable. I usually order online but wanted to make sure they had stock as I know online inventories are not always accurate.
The person who took my call confirmed stock and then was happy to take a telephone order from me. Handled efficiently and with utmost friendliness. I knew what I was looking for so I didn't challenge their knowledge or get advice. However they have a specialist focus so I am confident they would be able to give guidance to customers.
The guy who took my order told me to look out for the confirmation and to call if I was not in receipt of this by a certain time to ensure next day delivery. Speakers arrived next day as promised. I was very happy with the service and will use them next time I'm looking.
