Further to my recent review of DPD: their follow-up service has been excellent. A courtesy phone call was received last night and arrangements made for my package to be delivered this morning. Despite snow and ice in our part of rural Shropshire the goods arrived as promised. That's the way to do it!
I was in all morning. I am not deaf. The doorbell works. My husband was in all morning. He is not deaf. The doorbell works for him too. I was waiting for a parcel. I received a bit of paper through the letter box from DPD timed at 10.38 (when we were both in) saying that "we were unable to deliver your parcel today as there was no-one present at the address to sign for the parcel." We are both mystified. Quality of service from DPD: ghastly.
Will I receive my parcel tomorrow (22/3/13)?
I am not confident...
