very bad service

wait in for delivery which of course doesn't arrive so track package online only to find that apparently "customer refused delivery" and "returned to seller" was in the event log, also no was card left even though the letterboxes are external to the apartments I live in, it was then that I became aware that the intercom for my block was not working, so i arranged for next day delivery and informed customer services that the driver should ring me so i could go down to the front door to collect parcel so again i waited in at specified time and again nothing, this time it said "delivery attempted" so back to customer services who informed me that the driver would call back later but it could be any time,they gave him my phone number and he would definitely call me, so waited in the rest of the day, well i feel like a right idiot because i wasted a whole day and still no package and as long as the driver is not willing to call me on the phone i can see no end in sight. I am seriously debating whether to contact Amazon and ask for a different courier company.
