Compared to its competitors it ranks quite well on actual charges BUT it does have some niggling hidden charges for example it charges £3.50 per month if you dont want to pay by direct debit. Also they charge 99p per month per phone line to cover for false call outs for faults. We had a fault on our line for months and were told it was probably our equipment when we asked for the line to be checked. Eventually they agreed to send out an engineer but said we would have to pay for him if the fault was ours even though we had this cover in place. The fault turned out to be on the BT phone line and the engineer traced it to that within a few minutes of testing our line.
Generally speaking Chess Telecom perform well, but this incident was very annoying and affected the functioning of our business till it was sorted out.
