UPDATE: IT HAS BEEN OVER 3 MONTHS NOW AND SOFTBANK UNLOCKS ARE NOW "UNAVAILABLE" AND ONLY ON PRE-ORDER. A REFUND WAS OFFERED TO ME BUT TO BE HONEST I DON'T BELIEVE THEY'D GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK EASILY. PLUS I'D RATHER STAY IN LINE IN THE VAIN HOPE THAT MY JAPANESE IPHONE 4 WILL ONE DAY BE UNLOCKED....
It has been exactly 2 months since I ordered an unlock for my Softbank Japan iPhone 4. I paid £129.95 but my phone is STILL locked.When I ordered, the website stated it would take 5-10 working days. Only after I ordered did I discover that my status page stated "Softbank are currently on a limited service for unlocks so please allow at least 15 working days". This was annoying, but I could wait 3 weeks for my phone to be unlocked. After being told only that they were "waiting for an update from the supplier" on the Support form, I have received no further updates. The manager Ian has been helpful in responding to my emails, but my phone is still locked. I went on the site today for the first time in a month to find the status page saying "Unlocks were offline for 1 month due to the Chinese New Year. Unlocks will start coming through from this Friday on a limited number per day, please be patient." To be frank, this is ridiculous. My phone is locked to Softbank Japan, where Chinese New Year is not observed. All I want is for my phone to be unlocked, and an HONEST explanation of what has happened. This is not much to ask.

Unfortunately Softbank unlocks are notorious for this i'm afraid, i believe the support department have already emailed you regarding this and offered a full refund.
