Ordered a laptop from saveonlaptops, IT never got past the delivery depot before it went "missing".
Ordered a more expensive replacement with a 6 month warranty.Cost of laptop plus delivery was over £500.
Yes, 6 months and two weeks after delivery laptop has ,apparently, suffered a "core component failure" according to the technician who assessed it for repair and said its time for a new laptop.This guy works on laptops full-time.
Saveonlaptops are not interested in any goodwill gesture.
That equates to £100 per month of ownership!
Time to get real saveonlaptops !!!!
UPDATE; MY DAUGHTER got the number of HP technical dept. from saveonlaptops website.She explained the problem.HP viewed her invoice from saveonlaptops, updated her warranty to a full year, collected her laptop by courier,repaired it and returned by courier.Well done HP! You have two customers for life.
Saveonlaptops...you have lost two but judging by your customer service I am sure you will not care a jot!
