"Next day delivery" package arrived at their local depot early afternoon which was good news as I'd taken the day off work. By evening, I'd rearranged my appointments. By 9pm I'd given up.
The last 30 miles ended up taking just shy of a day, arriving 15 minutes after the item sent 2nd class via [Link] from the same eBay seller (low value items go [Link], high value items go Yodel express courier... a serious logic fail, IMHO).
On examination, Yodel's own label has "@HOME24" in tiny print which doesn't exactly encourage the rapid spotting and processing of priority packets.
Oh, and the packaging for the high value, fragile item has a seriously huge smash in one corner and lesser repeated damage to the other end. But that's par for the course with Yodel's "careful" handling of other people's property, apparently.
Avoid like the plague.
Avoid sellers who refuse to use other delivery methods like the plague.
