I had dealt with Serenta Flowers before and had no issues so had them as my first choice when I wished to purchase another bunch of flowers. This time however I was a little less fortunate.
I decided mid-way through the ordering process that I wanted to amend my order and select a different arrangement of flowers. Upon returning to the homepage, I was presented with a message stating that I had an incomplete order and given a reference number. There was no option to amend/delete the order and I had no choice but to contact customer services (who responded very promptly). After confirming that this order reference had been cancelled, I purchased an alternative item.
On the day of the delivery I received email confirmation that Serenta Flowers was "happy to report that your order is being chauffeured in style" as expected. It was only when the courier of their "trusty courier service" was holding the box upright (seemingly ignoring the direction of storage arrow printed on the package) I doubted in what style they were being delivered. I was left questioning Serenta's definition of trust, and perhaps level of instruction to their courier. More importantly, it became apparent that the direction in which the flowers were carried left a number of them damaged. This left me with even less flowers in an already disappointingly sparse bunch.
It is safe to safe I will be (for the money) more likely to consider a local florist or supermarket in future.
